What do you use to wash your clothes with?

I use the gain powder and purex crystals. Then I used either the purple or yellow top Downey for my extra rinse. The I use a gain dryer sheet. I like for my clothes to smell fresh but the things I like are getting a little to expensive. I was just wondering if there was anything just as good.
